Description
Adapt 200 Features
The Adapt 200 is for petite users. You can buy the standard model, or you can add special features to build your perfect ergonomic office chair. With so many options, choosing can be overwhelming.
Colours
When it comes to office design, aesthetics matter. We offer the Adapt 200 in three smart colours perfect for offices: black, navy and royal blue.
Armrests
Add your first level of extra comfort to your Adapt 200 with armrests. Please note it is not compulsory to have armrests. It depends on the tasks the user carries out (precision tasks can benefit from armrests), and their own preferences (some people prefer the stability when entering or exiting a chair). Adapt armrests come in a range of types you can find detailed in the brochure.
Armpads
For truly comfortable armrests, add extra padding and elevate your office chair to new levels of luxury.
Headrest
Headrests add another level of comfort and support — great when you need to lean back in your chair for a mini break. The Adapt range of headrests offers different shapes with different ways of moving to suit all users.
Reactive lumbar support
The Adapt 200 comes with a one-chamber lumbar support as standard. Add perfect contouring for your body with this adjustable three-chamber inflatable lumbar cushion for variable support across a greater area of your back.
Vertical support
Add a vertical air cell either on the left or right side of the chair (or both) to offer additional lateral support if needed.
Memory foam backrest
The Adapt 200 comes with a memory foam seat as standard. Add a memory foam back for additional comfort. The squishy material reduces surface tension for a supported feel.
Memory foam seat (additional layer)
Add another 20mm of memory foam to your seat for ultra comfort.
Coccyx cut-out seat
A cut-out in the seat designed for pressure relief around the coccyx area.
Coccyx zone
An option for the image-conscious, the coccyx zone provides an invisible relief area instead of a cut-out.
Thigh support
Inflatable air cells that can be used to provide pressure relief through the middle of the seat. Especially beneficial for people with muscle-wastage conditions.
Split seat
This add-on has deflecting front sections, ideal for people with differing thigh lengths. It can also help those with fused hip or knee joints, and people with prosthesis.
Gas stem
The gas stem determines the height of the chair. The one you choose depends on your height and the height of the surface you work at.
Castors
The castors affect how your chair moves. As standard we offer 65 mm castors for the best ‘roll’ on carpeted floors. For bare floors brake-loaded castors may be a more suitable option.
Footring / footplate
We offer a range of footring/footplate styles to suit the way you like to sit – and the way you want your chair to look. See the brochure for details.
Movement lock
The intelligent movement lock freezes all moving components on the Adapt 600 to make it easier for disabled users to safely enter and exit the chair. When fitted it reduces the height range of the gas stem by 20-50 mm
