Opera Chair A5 Armrests

Chairs can be supplied with A5 Armrests which are superior quality and highly versatile, offering 7 points of movement. Available on all Opera chairs, offering easy-to-use height, depth and width adjustments plus the option to rotate the pad through 360°. A further 3 movements are provided via a second pivot point that allows for 180°, 60° inward and 30° outward positioning. All these adjustments combine to make the A5 Armrests a great option to ensure comfort and support for a broad range of ergonomic requirements.

Opera Chair Swing-Back Armrests

Opera Chair Adaption Armrests

The Armrest Adaption utilises a different bracket that enables the armrests to go 5cm lower than standard armrests.

The adaption is available on all Opera chairs and can be fitted to all armrests apart from Swing-Back and Telescopic Armrests.

Opera Chair Z-Rest

Chairs can be supplied with a Z-Rest that offers height and angle adjustments. It supports the neck and head due to its pivot and position capability and complements the backrest without restricting movement. Appropriate for users who need support because of an injury or spinal condition. Workers who find themselves in seating positions that could cause strain, such as looking up at high monitors, could also benefit from this option.

Opera Chair Mini Z-Rest

Chairs can be supplied with the Mini Z-Rest which offers the same functionality as the Z-Rest but comes with a smaller cushion. It supports the neck and head due to its pivot and position capability and complements the backrest without restricting movement. Appropriate for users who need support because of an injury or spinal condition. Workers who find themselves in seating positions that could cause strain, such as looking up at high monitors, could also benefit from this option.

Opera Chair Comfort Backrest

Chairs can be supplied with a comfort backrest that has deeper contouring at the sides for greater lateral support providing a “hug-like” feel. Sewn edges provide more structure and greater comfort due to reduced surface tension and come as standard on the Opera 20.

Opera Chair Memory Foam Backrest

Chairs can be supplied with an additional layer of memory foam in the backrest. The foam moulds to the shape of the user, offering greater support and pressure relief.

Sewn edges provide more structure and greater comfort due to reduced surface tension and come as standard on the Opera 20 chairs. The backrest can be further enhanced with the addition of lumbar supports that give the chairs a hug like feel.

Opera Chair Custom-Fit Backrest

Our Custom-Fit system allows us to create tailor-made chairs that go way beyond optional extra selections. We’re able to sculpt truly bespoke backrests that map to users. Variations in foam density, offer ultimate support and comfort in ways a standard backrest cannot do.

These custom designs are suitable for users with conditions such as Scoliosis, Spina Bifida, loss of limb and spinal surgery were standard seating doesn’t provide an adequate solution.

Chairs can be supplied with a modified backrest which provides some of the sculpting and shaping we would typically carry out with the mapping data generated from a Custom-Fit assessment.

Opera Chair Sewn-Edge Backrest

Chairs can be supplied with sewn edges to the upholstery which not only gives an attractive finish but provides a softer feel for added comfort. The stitching also helps chair cushions retain their proper shape. Available as standard on the Opera 20 chairs.

Opera Chair Schukra Lumbar Support

Shukra Lumbar Supports are designed to give optimum support to the lower back. Each individual vertebral disk in the lumbar region is supported which provides greater relief for the spinal column and relaxation of the back muscles. Support is also given to the pelvis which in-turn provides balance for the spine.

Operation is simple with two hand-wheels allowing users to dial in the required amount of support.

Opera Chair Large Inflatable Lumbar Support

The Large Inflatable Lumbar Support promotes the natural position of the spine and provides support to the sacral, lumbar and lower thoracic areas of the back.

Air-cells are completely flat when empty and can be inflated to approximately 9cm deep with the built-in handpump.

Opera Chair Triple-Reactive Lumbar Support

The Triple-Reactive Lumbar Support promotes the natural position of the spine and provides support to the sacral, lumbar and lower thoracic areas of the back. This inflatable air-cell has three reactive chambers between which the air is squeezed when pressure is applied to a specific area.

Air-cells are completely flat when empty and can be inflated to approximately 9cm deep with the built-in handpump.

Inflatable side supports can be placed on either side of the backrest, or both, to help with asymmetrical back conditions or they can be placed wider apart to offer more general support.
